Under the auspices of the member of the Committee on Security and the member of the Committee on Defence - Chamber of Deputies, Parliament of the Czech Republic

Dear Defence and Security Patrons,
please accept my invitation to live broadcasting of the international conference that will address an important and topical topic. Current events constantly remind us that the world is not a safe place. Our country, like the whole of Europe, faces security challenges – from cyber attacks to international terrorism to armed conflicts in Central Europe and the Middle East. We cannot afford to ignore these threats, because they directly affect the security of the Czech Republic.

It is up to us to be able to name these risks in a timely and clear manner, and above all, to actively seek ways to counter them. The key to success is close cooperation between national security forces and sharing strategic experience with foreign partners, whether it is crisis management, state-of-the-art air defense or satellite intelligence. Only an open and professional debate will help us find effective solutions to strengthen the defense capabilities of our state.

I am glad that we will have the opportunity to discuss these challenges with leading Czech and Israeli authorities directly on the premises of the Chamber of Deputies.

PSP ČR PhDr. Pavel Žáček, Ph.D.
