Curriculum Vitae

Surgeon Commander Steven Bland is an Emergency Physician and the UK Defence Specialist Advisor in CBRN Medicine. He has deployed to a number of operational environments including submarines, Iraq and Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and was a responder during the July 7 London bombings. His interest in CBRN medical response is based on mix of operational and academic study crossing both military and civilian health sectors. Interests include toxicology, remote and radiation medicine, emergency response and medical education.
